Sub-processors

Elvean is a local-first application: your conversations, history, and files are stored on your own device, and Elvean operates no server that stores your content. The third parties listed below may process limited data to provide specific features.
Your conversation content — including data you pull in from connected services such as Slack — is only ever sent to the AI model provider you select for a conversation. If you use a local, on-device model (Ollama or LM Studio), no content is sent to any third party at all.
AI Model Providers
These providers process the prompts and content you send to a model in order to generate responses. Data is sent only to the specific provider you have configured and selected for a given conversation, directly from your device, under your own account with that provider and that provider's terms. Elvean operates no inference backend of its own and never uses your data to train models.

If you configure a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint, content is sent to that endpoint; you are responsible for reviewing that provider's privacy practices.
Local models (Ollama, LM Studio): no sub-processor is involved — all processing happens on your own device and no content leaves the machine.
Operational Services
These services support the app and website. They never receive your conversation content (or any data retrieved from Slack or other connected services) — only the limited data described below.
