Can Elvean delete or modify my files?
No. Elvean does not have computer use, file system access, or the ability to operate your Mac autonomously. It is a conversation and tool-calling interface. You share files with it explicitly as attachments. It does not browse your file system on its own.
Can I still use Claude in Elvean?
Yes. Elvean connects directly to Anthropic's API. You get full access to Claude Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku. You use your own API key and pay Anthropic directly at their standard API rates - which for most users is significantly less than a CoWork subscription.
