What’s New

  • Self-hosted servers with their own certificates - Ollama and Custom providers have a new Skip certificate verification option under Security in the provider settings. Use it to connect to a server you run with a self-signed or private certificate. It’s off by default and applies only to the provider you turn it on for.

Fixes

  • No more crash after adding a provider. Elvean could crash on launch after you added a provider or a new model appeared on your server.
  • Clearer Ollama errors. When Ollama rejects a message, you now see its actual reason instead of “NSURLErrorDomain error -1011”.
  • Tools work with more Ollama models. Tools are no longer sent to Ollama models that can’t use them. Those models used to fail with an error whenever tools were turned on.
  • Text size applies to your messages too. View › Make Text Bigger/Smaller (⌘+ / ⌘−) now scales your own messages as well as the replies.
